Feeling a bit inspired today so I thought I’d share some of my favorite quotes that get my butt moving again when I feel stuck or frustrated. Please add your below in the comments!
Two roads diverged in and wood, and I– I took the one less travelled by, And the has made all the difference.
~ Robert Frost
“No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”
~ Eleanor Roosevelt
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
~ Leo Tolstoy
~ Henri Frederic Amiel
Apparently there is nothing that cannot happen today.
~ Mark Twain
For me today, this was a common theme among a few different blogs I visited so I will post the same quote I did as a comment on another blog: Here is a quote that I like lately…
I don’t believe you have to be better than everybody else. I believe you have to be better than you ever thought you could be.
I love quotes! I have many favorites, but one that gets my butt moving is this one from Eleanor Roosevelt: “The encouraging thing is that every time you meet a situation, though you may think at the time it is an impossibility, . . . once you have met it and lived through it you find that forever after you are freer than you ever were before. . . . You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. . . . The danger lies in refusing to face the fear, in not daring to come to grips with it. If you fail anywhere along the line it will take away your confidence. You must make yourself succeed every time. You must do the thing you think you cannot do.”
Took a risk coming over here, Bonnie — I’m a literal quote JUNKIE. 🙂
Hands down, bar none …
Mark Twain’s quote gets my vote! Love it.
How about sending some rain my way? It’s pretty dry here in Southern California. Sometimes I just long to get my umbrella out of the closet and have occasion to use it. I really miss the thunderstorms I grew up with in Pennsylvania.
Very inspirational post! 😉
